WE ARE ALREADY A PART TIME WORKING SLAVE BUT OUR NEXT GENERATION WILL BE A FULL TIME WORKING SLAVE.

NOW WE CAN WITHDRAW OUR HARD EARNED $ IN OUR CPF AT THE AGE OF 62(IF I AM NOT WRONG).
BUT OUR NEXT GENERATION MAY NOT BE ABLE TO WITHDRAW ANY $ IN THEIR CPF IF THE GARMEN KEEPS ON INCREASING THE AGE LIMIT.

Cos only a few will drive and no money earn from ERP.
Therefore, ERP is to make money, to ease the traffic is juz an excuse.
Till date, i still feel that Taxi shd be exempted from ERP, or at least a flat $1 at each gantry at all times of it's operation.


IF THEY REALLY WANT TO EASE THE TRAFFIC CONDITION, THEY SHOULD FIRST CONTROL THE NUMBER OF VEHICLE IN SINGAPORE.

THIS IS THE CASE WHEN THEY STARTED TO IMPLEMENT COE SYSTEM. BUT NOW, EVER SINCE THEY IMPLEMENT THE ERP SYSTEM, COE SYSTEM NO LONGER SERVE ITS PURPOSES.

DURING THE COE ERA,PEOPLE COMPLAINT THAT IT IS ABSURD TO PAY SO MUCH FOR A PIECE OF COE AND IT IS ALSO VERY EXPENSIVE TO OWN A VEHICLE. IT DID CONTROL THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES IN SINGAPORE TO A CERTAIN EXTENT BUT ON THE OTHER HAND IT CREATED ANOTHER SETS OF PROBLEMS.

AS SUCH, THEY STARTS TO IMPLEMENT THE ERP SYSTEM. BY LOWERING THE COE PRICES SO THAT IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO BUY A VEHICLE NOWADAYS AND STARTS TO ERECT MORE ERP GANTRIES TO COLLECT MORE $.

BOTH SYSTEM IS QUITE SIMILAR TO OUR PEAK HOUR SYSTEM. THE COE BELONG TO OUR OLD PEAK HOUR SYSTEM OF ADDITIONAL $2 AND THE ERP BELONGS TO THE PRESENT PEAK HOUR SYSTM OF ADDITIONAL 35% OF METER FARE.

WHAT I MEAN SIMILAR IS IF YOU ARE GARMEN OR TAXI DRIVER WOULD YOU PREFER TO HAVE A SYSTEM TO GENERATE MORE $ OR A SYSTEM TO GIVE YOU FLAT RATE.
