This morning while sending wife to work, after CTE out to outram and going to Great Wall City (Zion) road, while taking 2nd lane and right turn to Zion road, this stupid taxi cut from the right lane and want to filter to tiong bahru road, hit my right side driver door.
After coming down he keep insist that I was on the extreme left lane (which can onli travel straight), keeping to fliter right and hit his card.
Bull****, I was travelling this road everyday for more than 4 years and how can I don knw where I am going. Tis driver also very rude and refuse to exchange particular with me. When I saw a passenger inside his taxi, when I ask for contact, he also refuse to let me contact the passender, eventually the passenger oso give me her contact.
Before I could take a pics of his taxi, he just drove away.!@#$%%%. So repntort to IDAC and insurance Coy but claiming is 50/50% cos the taxi driver can said that I drove on the wrong lane. Try calling the lady passenger, but she did not answer, propably she was brain wash by the taxi driver after that.
Try to report to police wanted to report the the driver refused to exchange particular, but the officers said that no Laws says that we must exchange particulars.
Check the costs of repair is about $300, have to pay upfront. Just hope that the claim will be sucessful.
Just want to share with everyone, when u have any accidents, make sure one thing u stop and do not remove the car even any cars behind u,
2. Take a photo immediately, the follw by all details.
3. Take the contact if there is any witness and ask them to write u a short statement, than u sure can claim with the statement.
Now just have to wait and hope that driver don talk rubbish, wonder should I lodge a complaint with his coy for the bad attitude...
becareful of this type of driver if you are in the right of way. any suggestion of how to avoid a driver for driving away before you could take pics?
In any accident, small or big,, get out and take pictures in the sequence of how the accident occurred and the results/damage incurred..before anything else. because you will forget the details after a time lapse...Then exchange driver/or witnesses particulars. Then drive off before creating big traffic jams. Go for a drink and get composed then write a nice story backed up with your pictures..in your favor. remember...I AM NEVER WRONG.
