Four Pax Rule

Believe our Bros here have this experience of picking or being ask to take more than the legal limit.

According to one of my friend beside being not cover by insurance if there is an accident, the driver as well as the Company will get a fine of S$200 each. Naturally the company will throw this back at the hirer ( I think ). I don't know if this is true.

Any Bros knows about this?

Dont take the extra risk of getting fine and worst any accident insurance will not cover . Furthermore if we take an extra pax that means we got extra load but no extra $.

I always stick strictly to the 4 pax rule... no second thought about it. The pax can beg or shout or do whatever they want, no is still the answer... No point taking such risk.

For night shift it even more risky as you do not know when you will encounter a road block. It does not pay to be nice or accomondating sometimes.

Three children passengers below the age of 12 years are regarded as equivalent to two adult passengers.

requesting to include Husband, wife, maid and 2 children ( 3 adult + 2 kids ) pro-family mah ! biggrinbiggrin

Question time!
What constitute an infant? I get 3 - 4 year olds carry in arm and parents saying they are babies. I'll always stay firm and refuse them even if it's a booking job. Trouble is the smaller ones, how do you define infants?

Same as the bus services.
Can't remember wats the height tho.
Is it 0.9m or 1.2m limit.
Cos below this height no need pay bus fare.

Bro reliefdriver,

In response to your question, in basic English usage, an infant is defined as a human child at the youngest stage of life, specifically before they can walk and generally before the age of one. A human infant less than a month old is a newborn infant.

A child is most often defined as a young human being (sproglet) between birth and puberty; a boy or girl.

Adolescence is a transitional stage of physical and mental human development that occurs between childhood and adulthood.

(meaning taken from Oxford dictionary)
