On Sunday i received a current booking it reads : East Coast Park, car park 1. On taking the job was wondering which car park, so i called the pax, which i did not do normally, am surprised to know that they are actually at Pasis Ris Park car park !! I cancel the job and call control immediately.
Sometime go I took a current booking when I was at Bedok: Bedok Walk House.... to East Coast Park SeaFood Centre
Arrive at the house, noone in sight. Time up saw taxi coming and a load of pax drop and enter to house. A girl ask me, "Uncle, who are you waiting? Me: "Got a booking and waitg for people in the house" Girl: "No the booking is from east to here and my father is still waitg for your cab there." Me: "Please call and cancel, you look at my system it is the other way round"

do u guys think Comfort should compensate a small token to us? My reasons are: 1. They get paid for all successful booking. 2. We were penalise if we did not take 2 calls. 3. We are wasting our time n fuel to fullfill the order, n sometimes forgoing potential pax on the way.. Just thinking aloud.
A CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW charge should be GIVEN to us to compensate us for the wasted trip!!!

How to call pax ?....
Some stupid idoit think of ways to make call booking for pax but forget about people like on the ground...having to encounter all kind of crab pax that abuse the system...
these the risk for taking call... last evening get a call at st aerospace, old airport... wait 10 mins no ppl come out but got see 2 angmo walk out to side road hail a cab and off they go.. think is them.. waste 15 mins of my peak hr... but want to make $3.50 that is the risk involved... its like sort of one like to be beaten by the other.. haha
From bros that got the mdt upgraded, please check that your current location is updated on your mdt map, I was told by the staff at cablink that the upgraded mdt software still got a few bugs in it, one is that the current gps location is not updated properly so it is advisable to go to your mdt map and click the refresh button once a while to ensure that it is capturing your latest position. For bros that has suffered no calls since up grading to ver 9.4, you can go down to cablink to upgraded it to ver 3.4. According to them ver 9.4 has a lag time of 3 to 4 secs while ver 3.4 response faster with a lag time of only 1sec. Thus, the reason for no call bookings...
