wrong booking info again

sunday from expo pick pax to pasir panjang at about 2230. thought at this hour to west side, gone case sure empty cab back to town. I was so happy to receive booking at :pasir panjang ferry terminal. Upon reaching destination, no one was at sight.
Call pax , he said he is at Vivo giant!! Imagine the time wasted! What more was i had miss a potential pax on the way to the ferry terminal.
This my 2nd time receiving wrong info from control. I tried to call control but they were too busy to pick up the phone.
I proceed to Vivo giant. Pax was mad at control.
Later i learned that the problem lies with the computerised system. The last time he book a cab, he was at pasir panjang ferry terminal, the smart elite computer assumed the same locations!!

bro gg, it's not the control fault nor it's the computer system fault.
It's the bloody pax own fault cos obviously ur pax use the auto booking function where he select the option to pick up from one of the last two pick up point.
It's not common but it does happen, especially when pax are new to the system and obviously want a cab badly.
I've had my fair share of experience with regard to this kind of pax and i always wait till no show appear.
No point rush to the pick where the pax actually is cos time lost and the hassle rushing there is juz too much to add to the damage already incur.
Damage control is the best option to do.

my advice is not to go to the correct location for the pax.. unless u r bulletproof.. coy cant fault u cos its not yr fault.... heehee..

in cases like this, just wait for 'No Show' button to appear,
press it and carry on with your driving.
It's not your fault, pax is at another place.
Don't waste time rushing to correct pick-up point becoz
pax will not only don't appreciate your effort but screw you up somemore.
Just not worth it.
Don't mention 'Special Service' to me, i'm not interested,
maybe u can discuss 'Special Service' with bro bluenuts...hahaha........

Nowadays in cases like this,I don't even want to call pax if I decided to make a move,because our number will be recorded in his phone and he might call back to nag you.

For me I will just wait till "no show" appear, still don't see pax, just press no show and leave once approved. Don't even bother to call the pax. Why we need to waste our phone airtime?

tio la.. no show we just go, if happy wait 1 min more not happy see ppl walk slowly in their own sweet time.. i wait till they quite near and i vrooooommm off.. see them run behind cab is quite amusing...hahhaa

Another common problem is when your MDT hangs.That is when you are travelling from
Suntec to Jurong and when your MDT hangs at Suntec, you will still receive calls from Suntec when you reach Jurong.
To solve,sign off your MDT and log in again.

Once I hide around Suntec at 10 pm for calls.So many cabs moving around with calls,
but not for me after 15 minutes.I called control and was told to log off and log in again.
Sure enough,call came after a few seconds.

this is what we can do to get back at them mah....
u will be doing the same thing after more of these no-shows happen to u.
and it's true, it's really amusing and hilarious to see these ppl running after u....
sometimes need to teach them a lesson on PUNTUALITY.

This afternoon I ferried a pax fr Intl plaza to Gul rd....

After she alighted...I had a booking fr 50 Gul rd....was at location less than 5min... waited but no pax insight.. at that moment..a guy waved at my cab n I asked if he called for a cab... he waved n said no...

I told him I was on call....so both of us waited for another 5 mins... no sign of pax.. I pressed no show... and booking cancelled..

Immediately..this guy asked me... if my call cancelled.. I said -YES!... he asked me whether I was ready to ferry him.. I asked him where he was heading..he told me.. Boon Lay..

I refused to take him...deep down ..I knew it was him who auto book n want to save money...cheap skate...

Pax are very desparate just to board a cab..they will do anything just to get their cab...they dont care about us...drivers.....have to drive acrosss mountains n seas just to reach them....bloody hell

Anyway I drove off.... leaving him behind...hehehehehe

A few metres down the road...again booking for 50 Gul road...this time pax showed up on time...

Guys..pax these day also play punk on call booking n dont want to pay booking fees...why like that ????

Again another sign of desparado ....suntec this afternoon...got pax but no cab...bloody hell..on call n cancel call - at the same time...why becos ...my cab came liao..I DONT NEED YOU.......Crap ! sometimes when we have to pay erp n get caught in traffic jams ..makes you lagi tu lan.....

It's all in a day's work..but it makes you really think about what kind of people are out there living among us...

Last time when I was driving, I always give passengers the benefit of the doubt when they walked slowly to be cab. This way, I will feel happier. After a hard day's work, it can be very tiring and I can empathize with them. So please bros, not all are passengers behave intentionally. Be forgiving as this is our duty as cab drivers, however difficult it may be for some of you. I am very fearful of the Karma. Do good and it will be returned. smile.gif
