Hi there,i guess there should be some Sonata day/night hirer or relief in this forum. As diesel is always one of the main dispute between most hirer & relief.I welcome all feedback from you on how you guys(especially the hirer) come with agreement with your relief on how it should be top up.And do you think is there any difference on how the day & night shift feul comsumption. Thanks in advance for the feedback!
My day shift average FC is 10.5km per litre, My relief's nite shift FC is *9.5 km per litre Base on the total mileage divided by amount of fuel consumed since Jan 08 till date. ( It's printed on the reciept . )
it's a good idea to show the reciept at the end of shift as proof of purchase to each other, should any dispute arise.
Night shift have more queing(eg. Airport), waiting for call, etc.. hence more engine idiling as compare to the day.
Different personal driving habit affect fuel consumption. Drag racing style or light footed, colder A/C temperature or moderate A/C, start/stop traffic or highway cruising between 90-100kmph...etc
Check with some fellow colleague at the petrol station. One said this is one of the method and it should be fair and commonly pratice among cabby(Crown or Sonata). That is if i drive 100km,i pay up 100x0.133=$13.30,the hirer will pump for me and using his card. The rebate will go to him.Is this fair enough to the hirer if i am a night Sonata driver?
Bros gg138,take for example if your mileage is 200km;you will be paying 0.145 X 200km which is $29.Considered that your hirer don"t need you to pay for car wash, you save a $3.I think it is a fair enough deal, but i don"t know what other bros here think.
Hi I'm also a Sonata relief driver,my agreement with my Hirer is also 10km/1L and I use my own card so I get the rebate myself but I would always pump in 1L to 2L extra. For example if I drive 320km I would pump 33L to 34L.But I find Sonata takes a long time to pump up,very slow.
Whichever way, as long both party agree can liao cos base on mileage not very fair as when queing, the odo don't jump but your engine still running hor...
