This morning i heard over 972 about this case and wanted to share my view.
How many people can you please ???
Cant get a cab, then book a cab lah or call ambulance lor.
If we are tired and on our way home to rest, then we should be resting. By driving further or beyond your limit, we not only causing potential injury to ourself but to our passenger as well..
I don't understand why whenever something happen, eg. late for work, late for meetings, cannot get cab to hospital, etc... all blame on us cabbies!!!
If you are late for anything, don't blame the cabby, blame yourself for bad time management, If you need to get to the hospital fast, call the AMBULANCE!. Their number is 995 It is the civil defence ambulance job to get you to hospital ASAP! NOT TAXI! WE DON'T HAVE BLUE AND RED LIGHTS OR SPECIAL RIGHTS TO DRIVE FAST FOR ANY EMERGENCY! Please use the right tools for the right job! Cabbies are not SUPERMAN!
Genuine urgent cases that need ambulance I think is FOC, those that abused it need to pay $100.
gaga,,, no hor !! $100 + 7% GST ,,, inrespective of urgent case or not !! so,,,,, as reported in that news that the "complainant " is paying $20 to the hero-uncle... its still V V Very cheap,,,,,,,,,,, any way,,, I will also give a helping hand in this kinds of situation

Ambulance fee increased from $50 to $100, noone make noise.
Taxi fare increased $.20, knn, KPKB.
