STOMPer Benny is frustrated with the inconvenience caused by these taxis queuing along the main road to pick passengers up from the office buildings at Jurong International Business Park.
He says:
ˇ°Especially outside this building, The Strategy, there will always be a long queue of taxis, causing a huge jam during peak hours.
ˇ°The queue will extend from Jurong East Street 11 all the way to the slip road into the International Business Park (IBP).
ˇ°The taxis park along the roadside which cause difficulty for other cars to drive pass.
ˇ°Some of them will even station their taxis at the pick-up points of the various office buildings.
ˇ°Because of the long taxi queues, all other cars are forced to merge to another lane, thus creating a higher possibility of an accident happening.
ˇ°And when the feeder bus service stops to pick up office workers from the IBP, it will cause an even bigger jam as all the lanes are blocked.
ˇ°My suggestion to this is to build a central taxi stand where all the taxis can wait for passengers.
ˇ°Can the LTA look into this?ˇ±

aiyah...car owners will never understand the problems of cabbies and commuters. when their vehicles break down and they waited 20 mins for a taxi, they will complain there's no taxi when they needed one.
many taxis available, complain. no taxi, oso complain. typical sillyporeans!!!
CCB ! Only complain about taxis why don't complain about shuttle buses, private buses, private cars waiting for wives n girlfriends. Another taxi hater.....go smell the tyres of taxis.
