Our Diesel pumps...

Guys,

Anyone noticed that the caliberation of the pumps are not consistent ?

Eg : Tues : 412km - Pay $52 for diesel / Wed : 360km - Pay $52 for diesel... I should be paying less ...if we work out 10km/l..it is otherwise..

Anyone with similar observation ?

Your calculation got too much variables... your engine idle time, style of driving, and for sonata, the "full tank" when topping up is already too inaccurate...
Can't based on km to calculate.
If you have lots of long smooth highway trips, the sonata will have better fuel economy, but if your day is lots of short, start/stop trips with lots of idling, than the fuel economy will suffer alot...

Bro mecabbby,

how much u pay does not depend on how many km u travelled,
but by how many ltrs of diesel u pumped.
if u kena stucked in AP for 2 hrs with engine running, though u only clocked
less than 1 km, u oredi consumed abt 2 ltrs of diesel liao, chai bo?
every 1 hr of idling costs abt 1 ltr of diesel lei....

Guys thanks for your feedback..

Am aware that they are many variables that influence our disel usage..

just wanted to know or confirm whether the pumps do screw up your top -ups .

FYI,,,
the CDGO diesel station are poorly constructed !!angered.gif
I am very familiar with Changi North & Bedok station...
take for a example ... if u fill your tank till Very Very full (after shaking here & there like making love to a china mei mei) at Pump No. 4...
try to pump at Pump No.7 again...
easily ,,, your tank will suck in another 1 litre + !!!disbelief.gif

Not only inconsistence, but difference kiosk the fuel are difference some have more bubble than others. Look like the grade varies

When u autopump slower, more diesel got in as it create less bubble. It can be difference between a few dollar depend on how empty is your tank.

So i guess it not how much you pump, it's how fast you pump.
