A taxi went over the top of a car in a PIE accident near the Eunos Crescent exit involving five cars and a cab last night (Dec 21). Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.

”°Here are some pictures I took just around an hour ago about an accident that happened at PIE near Eunos Crescent.
”°Five cars were involved in the accident where one taxi went over top of another car.”±
STOMP contacted the Police and a spokesman said:
”°Police received a call at about 10:10pm informing us of a traffic accident involving five cars and a taxi, along PIE towards Jurong near the Eunos exit.
”°Six people were conveyed to Changi General Hospital for various complaints. Police are investigating the incident.”±

I was on PIE towards city think 30 mins after the accident, shocked to see that happened. 2 hours later passed by towards airport saw big focklift lifted up the taxi... from my heart felt real sad why taxi always involved... poor cabbies just go for couple dollars....
You can tell that the way the accident was reported is like putting the blame on the cabby. But from the photos, it looks like it is the black car that is speeding so fast that it went under the taxi during the impact. Biased reporter......
How come everytime got sex on the road with taxis means taxis at fault? This time even though taxi is on top of Black car, taxi driver is not the initiator. He is passive.
STOMPer Tan was walking to Great World City yesterday when he witnessed a collision between a Transcab taxi and a Canadian Pizza delivery motorcyclist along Leonie Hill Road at around 8.30pm.
The STOMPer said the impact of the accident caused the motorcyclist to "fly off his bike and landed on the hood of the taxi".
He said:
"I heard a very loud sound of glass breaking.
"I was about to call the police but realised there was a police car a few cars behind the pizza delivery guy.
"The police came to help. The motorcyclist didn't seem to be in very bad shape, but I'm not sure if he was taken to hospital."
When contacted, the Police said that they received a call at about 830pm informing them of an accident between a motorcycle and a taxi along Leonie Hill Road.
According to them, the rider is a Malay in his early 20s. He sustained leg injuries and bodily pains and was conveyed conscious to Singapore General Hospital.
Police say that investigations are still underway.
