RE: Serious Accident Involve A Sonata On PIE 25/1 (pics posted)

i know this is the last thing a taxi driver wants to see, but this is what i saw first.

than i notice a metal junk stuck on a tree.

it took 2 tow trunks to put it back on the road.

another view of the cab.

it took another hour for the workers to figure out how to tow the junk.

can you figure what car was that?

Serious Accident Involve A Sonata On PIE 25/1

This proof that the sonata is quite a hardy car. It survive the accident with the passenger cell intact, but the other car was a total wreak...

This also proof another point that the type of car you drive will determine if you will survive an accident...

whatever whether hardy or not...next time may not so lucky...even ferrari had smashed at railings

each time i see sanota speed at more than 100kph are risking their lives...you dun feel the speed when you're in the carno.gif

Having seen the number of rear end collisions at the rooftop at loyang...

I firmly believe that the sonata has one ogf the strongest chasis in its class...

One key feature is that the cabin remains intact...very good safety point.

After drving this car for over a year.. i am still impress about its build quality and they have come along way ...since the last sonata

from the accident site which i also passed by that night... the center divider was whack twice each abt 5 meters apart... it could be the pvt car whack divider, whack the 1st tree..then come to next lane and the sonata bang it again and the pvt car whack divider 2nd time and flips over onto the tree and wrap ard the tree underside first... this is only my assumption...

according to witnesses, the driver of the private car survive at the scene but his
condition was very bad. he was pulled out from a few helpers n ferry to hospital
by an ambulance. it was so bad that the medic came down with white plastic
bag means for the dead becos they thought the driver couldn't survive.

judging from the tyres marks on the floor at the scene, i suspect the private car
was skidded from the 2nd lane to 1st lane and was hit from behind by a fast
coming sonata which was on the 1st lane. that is why u can see that the front part
of sonata was damaged.

base on the neighbouring, they heard sound of loud exhaust of a few cars racing
down the PIE seconds before a loud band was heard. blankstare.gif

Bros,

I have noticed quite alot of F1 wannebies otr recently, especially during the night, racing down HDB estate, expressways and their favourite circuit is the Orchard circuit... You will never missed their cars...

I always try my best to keep a big distance from them whenever I see them. Especially when you see a few of them together...

Just waiting...... if catch any of them smashed while racing on my onboard camera, will surely post it for all to see... with compliment to the TP...
