This forum is considered fairly active depending on how you define it.

During your time - logged in - for some members it could be they are busy and still on the road working and earning $$$$..

For some members it could be their day of rest... spending time with families.....

For your information - a few members got together for coffee this afternoon.

We are very active forum..if you ask me... smile.gif

i dun think our forum is quiet...perhaps you wan to take your calculator & add up all d positngs here...this forum is for cabbies who share common interest & what's happening on d road

are u a cabby?...i doubt so...as such many things may not interest you

so are you from authorities?...questions posted here need some scrutinizing b4 answering by our members

yes there're many other forums & i believe you can find them easily if this forum is too quiet for you

This forum is mainly for working taxi drivers.
Guess is the only one in Singapore.
Not for kids who have plenty of time and just ram the keyboard anyhow.
If you know of any other active forums for taxi drivers, let us know.

hi guys

thanks so much for the replies.
I am a cabbie to be actually, not from any authorities though.
Have send my application to LTA but still waiting for them to reply me .
I guess i still have to wait a long time before i can join you guys in this trade.

Probably for a newbie like me, same as many other newbies, there are alot of
insecurities and questions pondering over me, and seeking advice from the seniors
here has really been a big help to me.

any advice from seniors for a newbie , entering the trade, would be a great help

hi GT

your concerns on becoming a cabby is understandable...there're many newbies who came to this forum & seek help on their coming tests...do read some of d postings & you'll never find another forum where seniors readily help with answers

having said that...when a new guy comes into this forum & ask about income...we're quite cautious...as the new guy cld be a garmen guy (esp IRAS) or a reporter...you need to realise that we're declaring income to IRAS too...being self employed we treasure our secrets yea

any other matters we're glad to assist where ever we can

cheers

By appyling for your TVL is already a bold move and do have some confidence in yourself.

There are no short cuts only work smart attitude...

The rest ,you have to join us for coffee to hear more from our fellow Bros.

Bro GT,

Our forum is like a beehive you know. Don't think just because sometimes its quiet there's no activity. When bees go about their work, they go about it quitely adn busily. But hor, don't stir it because it can suddenly come alive and you can get stung. But again hor, the sting won't kill, just a reminder that we bees are very busy but please do not stir the hive. The sting can be a lesson. Let's learn from the bees and work as a team. Hee! hee! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Hornets are entirely different creatures. Don't ever antagonise them. fear.giffear.giffear.gif
