I do agree with STKee that crown is a powerful machine but must get the right person to fully optimized this powerful machine
I remember there's once where i was at woodland going to kranji mrt, a bit down slope on that stretch of road, and a crown overtake my sonata with such tremendous power which leave me in awe
Crown is all power but no speed, during slow speed crown is king but it only max until around 120 ~ 130km /h At the highway sonata can easily go beyond that
Bro, Crown can go beyond 120 - 130km/h leh.... Highest speed i've tried was 145km/h. But don't try that becoz once go beyond 140km/h, the steering wheel begins to vibrate.
When exceed 120km/hr the Comfort MCT displays "PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY!" then is recorded in the database, hear say if frequently happen TP will invite you to drink kopi.

In fact, the message will appear on MDT if exceed 105km/h. But i don't think they will ask u to go for kopi becoz i see this message a few times everyday until now i can't be bothered about it anymore. My test of max spered of 145km/h was done many years back when they introduced the new Crown model.
When i got my new crown 4 years back, I was able to get 150km/hr with power to spare... the pickup is also very good, able to overtake most of the vroom vroom toys and make them smell my smoke at traffic lights...

Wow you guys really know how to gallop a crown, but now all crowns old horse liao, no longer can go fast , hehe
KNN. Today went to Seremban with boss. Along the way near the 185km mark on the NS Highway, was stopped by Police Road Block. Wah lau! Never seen so many Malaysian Traffic Police in a road block before in my driving along NS Highway. I think about 20+ plus one big Malay Very Senior Superintendent. Got many crabs on his shoulders.
They stopped about 30 cars (Malaysian and Singapore cars), mine included (I was driving my boss Lexus). When officer approached me (REMEMBER, MUST NOT TALK TO THEM IN MALAY even if you know. SPEAK TO THEM IN A LANGUAGE THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH) and said something about speeding. Honestly, I was speeding but at 120km/h and 10km/h above the legal limit only. He asked for my passport and I showed him. Then I tell him, "I am not speeding, why am I being stopped? I am on auto-cruise so how can I be speeding?" I showed him the auto-cruise green light is still on. He returned my passport and wave me on.
Wah lau! Damned heng.
