If no surcharge, then CBD "Ci Beh Diam". No cabs will want to go in because no incentive. However, possibility of ridership will increase outside CBD. smile.gif

Was dicussed with call-in ppl on Radio 958 yesterday. IMO, I think logically the term "Peak Hour" should be redefined so that for areas short of taxi supply surcharge should increase more, i.e. CBD area 2100-2300 City surcharge adjusted to $twoDigit. Why implement city surcharge then restrict taxi pick up? Force local passengers take MRT could be the main objective, right? Hotel pax go airport no matter how high the surcharge is they still take but local pax answer is no cos walk to taxi stands they already on MRT platform.
