I have checked before. Required $300 deposit, rental close to $100 per day, minimum 3 days (3x24hrs) and collection and return must be office hour Sat office close. Collection and return empty fuel tank. All short-term citycab roof top got big light box ads.
Therefore, if you collect taxi on Friday before 2pm then earliest you can return is Tuesday i.e. FULL 72 HOURS.
Taxi condition for short rental not attractive, old and worn out and you can't choose, can't test and can't book. If you encountered brake too soft then drive back to service center (limited location) they will fix for you.
Just for the 'experience' you can try it out. I started driving this for the first 3 months . As and when I am free to drive 3 days....first 4 hours is free for washing, refuelling and checking out the cab. $4/ per hour with no break or concession....cost.
