Cab driver goes the extra mile and changes radio station to suit passenger
STOMPer Colin was pleasantly surprised when the driver of a cab he got on offered to change the radio station to suit his taste.
It is this kind gesture that allowed Colin to have a pleasant journey, he says.
In an e-mail dated February 27, he says:
“I took cab SHD 3008 T on the morning of February 27 to go to Jewel Box, where my customer was waiting.
“The driver of this Comfort cab asked me if I would like to switch the radio to another station, which is something that I find shows a touch of excellent service.
“The reason for the way I feel is that I always get stupid excuses from other drivers when I ask for the station to be changed. Sometimes after a hard day’s work, I don’t wish to get blasted in the ear by stations I dun quite like)
“So this driver ... if I remember correctly, Mr Meng, really went the extra mile with his nice and friendly service.”

Aiyo, like that also post. To me I will switch to passenger's desired radio channel if requested. If passenger is happy, I will be happy too. It make my day and I am sure his/hers too.
hahaa.. usually i put on 938 la..listen michelle martin voice .. soft soft only i can hear.. as though no radio then backseat also have the tv they can hear that 1.. furthermore radio behind MDt cannot be seen...
