Axxident waiting to happen

Accident waiting to happen if nothing done to curb jaywalking at Bugis

The problem of jaywalking at the stretch of road between Bugis Junction and Bugis Village is so serious that it is a scene of an accident is waiting to happen, says STOMPer Martin.

He wonders why nothing is being done to enforce traffic rules there especially on weekends and public holidays.

In an e-mail dated February 28, he says:

¡°This scene repeats itself every weekend or on the afternoons of public holidays at the road between Bugis Junction and Bugis Village.

¡°Are we waiting for something or an accident to happen before we do something about it?¡±
frustrated:

this problem was reported in local newspapers about a year back but till now,
nothing's been done to improve the safety of pedestrians.
i think it muz take an accident with high fatalities for the authorities to wake up.

how come all the lorries ferry worker moving at lane 2 on expressway no need belts?
really must wait for more accidents to happen then they find a way to deal.

(i just feel sch bus is safer than lorry liao, still sch bus need belts, lorry no)

All this ser rd or bugis, need to see who kena headline then govt will make new rule lor
