Taxis as we know it is ridiculously low-priced ! If our rates are force to go down ! We be back to working our heads off like dogs ! Then the public will complain taxi speed, falling asleep at the wheel, erratic driving , touting and cheating
If taxi fares goes down further, it will surely encourages more to take the risk of touting and overcharging, a good example will be taxis in our surrounding countries, their metered taxi fares are really cheaper than ours, but how many of them are using the meter to charge you? What kind of cars are been used and their conditions?
Over here the fares are already dirt cheap with lots of nice new and spacious cars been used as taxis, and pax are still complaining.....WTF!!!
And for the benefits of pax reading, most of the taxis on the road are all less than 5 years old, as compared to some very old tin cans taxis been used in other countries...
if wanna lower cab fare pls do it soon... asap... b4 i get too old to switch job. if lowered, i rather be security officer, get nsrs cert can get about 1.5k, just cbl...
rather than slog 10hrs plus bull **** pax, plus road stress, plus no mc, medical beneift etc.
