Pax no pay, tell them you call police.
CCB farking WL dare to tell police she don wana pay?

Bro, that's tantamount to cheating. My advise to u is please stop doing it.
It's not worth taking such a big risk for just $3 only.
We earn our keep only through honest means.
For a few dollars more, all we need is just make one more trip.

No lah , just take it as misadventure, no point hankering for $3, after the storm there is silver linning awaiting so better move on.

lets me tell u guy what I encountered many many many mths back,,,
pick up an ah neh family (tourist) from Plaza Sing during evening peak hour to litter India (where else ?!) ,,,
arrived at where they wanted, meter shown $5 + 35% $1.75 + CBD $3 = $9.75 ,, knn ,, the ah neh refush to pay the full amount and said me cheated them as the meter only shown $5 !!!!!!
I explained to him what the F are all abt but he said he arrived SIN on Sunday , and he toke cab from Plaza Sing to litter India ON Sun & Mon , both trips only $5 !!
I spend another few min explaining to him that Sun no s/c and Mon is a Public Holiday also no s/c ,,, knn ,, after all the toking he still don't want to pay !!
SO ?? me restart the meter and send them to the Tanglin Police station beside KK Hospital !! at the end , they LL paid the full fare plus the fare to the police station !!

If the intention is not to cheat, pax ignorant about all these charges, i will just cursed at myself for my luck. To me it will be wasting precious time to go thru the hassle of getting cop involved. Maybe to each his own, to some at this juncture it's the principle that matters and not the amount. But how much principle is worth? end of the day it's still boil down to profit return, the time spent in police stn making report
will earn u a few dollars back and satisfied yourself and bring back your ego. Many a times when our mind are influenze by these unwarranted issues from pax we tends to search for an answer to fight back our right and for some there are those who loose their head and threshold level and start to press their panic button resulting assult case...remember the golden word...just be calm..pick and drop..and forget everthying.

What Bro Rrman did was correct.
It's true that time is wasted, it's true that all the hassle going true is just not worth it, it's true that principle at times is just worthless, but the image of our whole taxi industry in this mighty little island is at stake here!!
If bro rrman take the $5 and forget about it, this will only show and prove that the pax was right, that bro rrman try to cheat them.
What do you think the pax will tell his frens and family back home about singapore taxi drivers?
Don't forget that Rrman did try to explain to the pax about the charges, they can be ignorant or unaware about the charges, so explaining it to them is our responsibility.
But when they insist that he try to cheat them after all the explanation, that's unacceptable.
How about when the pax take another cab, can be anyone of us, to plaza sing within the same peak hr time frame, are you suppose to accept $5 as the fare again?
In case some of you haven't realise, many foreigners think that all singapore taxi driver will cheat them if they dono the way, ask yourself, is that true?
If not, then what should you do when they say you cheat them?
