おはようございます。 Donsan,

You are right, HOPE!!!

Most people understand hope as wishful thinking, as in "I hope something will happen."

The definition of hope is "confident expectation." Hope is a firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown.

Hope is a fundamental component of the life.

Without hope, life loses its meaning and in death there is no hope.

People with hope and faith, they will not be confounded, put to shame, or disappointed and are free from fear and anxiety.

Hope n Faith comes together.
Hope to get a good pax while queing at Airport.
Hope to get another pax waiting at the destination of your current pax.
Hope to get call upon entering the CBD.
But what happen when we don get what we hope for?
Keep the Faith, for that give you strength to have new Hope.
Good Luck!

A 40+ male Chinese PR pax once told me,
"I hope my son will do NS in Singapore and become Singaporean"
"I hope to become a taxi driver in Singapore".

Yaya... smile.gif

A popular song... duno what's the name....

I got a feeling that tonight is gonna to be a Goodooooo nite.

If assured by strong belief then it is strong faith.

Tonite gonna be a gooooodooooo nite, right?

Of course, All Saints Day + Pay Day + Sat.... some need to celebrate their immediate bosses' retrenchment; some just received early contract termination compensation.... good stuff, bad stuff, tough or not tough still need to come out meet ppl.... hiding @ home never gonna have any opportunity.

I am a simple man, only concentrate doing good for today and never worry about tomorrow.

Ohayou gozaimasu Donsan.

My wallet is too small to contain more, it overflowed abundantly early before 0400 so can't take anymore. Went to Loyang topup saw cabbies all masked with smiling face, huh see the power of $$$. Along the road few pax still hailing but nobody dare to take.... scary go Jurong West then can't go home.

When ppl got abundant $ to spend then there will not be issue of There are far too many taxis on the road and therefore no more 'There are far too many' restaurant in the shopping mall... too many telco.... too many spa.... too many new condo.... too many car dealer..... too many clinic.... too many medical center.... too many aux police....

By His grace, all these sure come to past real soon.

I, a simple man, just simply let tomorrow worries about tomorrow.

How much $$$ you made for the days depends on the present economy, driver's
experience, hard work and a little bit of luck, rather than the make or performance
of the taxi.

Sonata, Toyota, Kia, Wish, etc....... all the same.

No matter how good your taxi, how powerful, how new, or how stylish...
You, the driver need to perform better than your vehicle to achieve a good result.

i beg to differ ..... there is differences between a Sonata and a Crown .

From Parc Oasis > Airport , 2 taxis , one crown and one sonata , which one will reached Airport first ?

Sonata can be earlier by 6 minutes .

If every trip Sonata get 6 minutes earlier , 10 trips Sonata is 1 hour advantage , meaning Sonata can get $20 extra minimum , compared to a Crown .

That is my opinion .

Poolman...Good calculation....Moreover, sonata reach with a bit higher meter fare....hehehe...

Whatever model taxi u drive is not the deciding factor which arrive first.
It depends on the driver. If I drive a Merc and travel at a constant 90km/hr
and another who drives a Crown goes at 95-100km/hr, who arrives first?
It's the speed of travel la...not the type of vehicle.

Crown take 30 sec to reach 90km/h, while Sonata need a little strenght of 5 sec to reach 90 km/h....even if Sonata travel most at 90 km/h, it will still reach destination earlier than Crown which travel at 95/100 km/h......Slow pick up get more track on red light...hahahaha....

Hello Man30plus3, welcome to STC.
From Parc Oasis to airport, how many traffic lights do u get?
One outside Parc Oasis, one at Jurong Town Hall/ PIE junction.
That's only 2 altogether, from there, is PIE all the way to airport.
So if Sonata travels at 90km/hr and Crown travels at 95km/hr, who reach airport first?
Do your own calculations lor....
