This morning @ 08:07 hrs, while driving to work along JTH Road approaching Boon Lay Way [near Blk 227, Jurong east ST 21], i saw one man alighted from his stopped car [SFS 3625G] and approach one comfort taxi [SHC 2110 S] driven by one Malay driver.
From my rear mirror, i saw the male chinese man 'pulled opened' the cabby's doorand a flight started. I immediately reversed my vehicle in a safe manner and parked on their right side.
I approach both driver and asked them to stop fighting. The cabby has a Malay female passengers while the male driver also have passengers in his car.
I relay the information to Cabby Hotline and ask them to check the condition of our fellow cabby driver.
It was sad to learn that his has cut on his eye. I had told him to seek medical treatment now and thereafter to lodge a police report against the said driver.
We cannot allowed such road bully to freely take law into his own hand.
Fellows driver, please dun loose pateince when on the road.
This is ROAD-RAGE! If found guilty, a jail-term is mandatory. The cabby and taxi coy muz make a poice report. We cannot allow such hooligan acts to go unpunished.
Please volunteer to be his witness for this case. Also fellow bros, if you are confronted by anyone that seems a threat, first thing to do is locked your doors and wind up your windows and call the police or activate the emergency alarm. Do not step out and confront the aggressor, if your handphone got a camera or video mode, just record everything down.
So long that you are locked inside your car, there is nothing the aggressor can do to hurt you. Don't even try to reasons with the person, because the persons is most likely not in the right mind for reasoning...
Road rage or road bully when you lodge a police report, they will tell you there is no case as it is not a seizable offence. They will advise you to file a magistrate complaint to ask the court to empower the police to investigate the matter.My brother got a similar case and I still submitted the video evidence to the police.This is a world where the rich can bully the poor and can go without any punishment.

road rage is a serious offence if only the other party touched you. if it was only verbal exchange, no case.
whoever swing the punch first, is wrong. but if both exchanged brow like ip man, both will be prosecuted.
also, dont take the brow volunteerily becos if the punch was not hard enough to break your bone, itwill bea civil case. u need to file for magistrate complain for police to take action. and that, it meansyou need to spend alot of times running up n downfor rubbish works. alternatively, get a lawyer and sue him. it also means you need to drive up n down for more money.

My bro was 2nd car behind a jarguar driven by a ang mo waiting for people to finish crossing the road. Road cleared and ang mo was dreaming, my brother tap his horn lightly and he drove forward but jammed on his brake hoping my brother to crash into him. My brother tap his horn lightly again. He drove to park aside and my brother went to park in a parraell parking lot. His wife stormed over to my brother crying father and mother. My brother told her he will be calling for the police to settle and got off to stand infront of video camera. Suddenly her husband which is very fat and stand at about 1.9m charged over using his full body to bang against my brother causing him to lost his balance and almost fell to the ground. The ang mo also threatened my brother.The police officer told her husband to stay there while they will send officer over.
The coward left the scene before the police arrived leaving her wife there. Police arrived and after viewing the evidence, the police officer told my brother since there was physical body contact that means it will be treated as a case of road bully. After investigation officer investigated he told us that there was no case as it was not a seizable offence therfore case closed. I appealed through my MP to MHA but after consulting with attorney general they still told us there was no case.
My question was : 1) Why did the attending police officer tell us that it was a case of road bully ? I thought every police officer studied the same law procedure ? 2) When the officer ask the ang mo man to stay there to wait for police but he left the scene. Is it disobeying of police order ? 3) He charged at my brother almost causing him to fall backwards and even threatened my brother. Why they did not even charge him for making a threat against my brother.
What are police for since every case is treated as a no case. If they were to reverse the situation and its my brother who charged at him, do you think there will be a case ? Why are police siding with ang mo and keep asking my brother why my brother keeping following the ang mo which the ang mo claimed. Both are travelling on the same road and he call that following. We are citizen not them.
In short if you are rich you will be protected. Law even if there are loop holes, everybody got to endure with it and will only be reviewed when those rich need it.

with body contact, even with a punch on your nose but no severe injury caused or broken bone, no case.
did u read a case i personally witnessed at boat quay? the taxi driver was whacked so badly by 3 men, his white t-shirt was soaked with his oozing blood from his nose and in the eyes of many witnesses including me, the assailant was let free on the spot after the taxi driver was wheeled into an ambulance.
whether he was charge later or not i dont know, but what i know was, he should not be let free on the spot. i was a witness and i was never called back to CID even now after 2 years.
