A 30 year old Chinese national wascharged for murder. He was arrested in connection with a body discovered in a forested area off Sembawang Road last Friday.
The highly decomposed body has been identified as 58-year old Yuen Swee Hong, a taxi driver.
If convicted, the suspect could face the death penalty.
Note: i read today's Straits Times which wrote that there is an accomplice involved they tried to extort money from the deceased's wife, apparently she did not pay the money and the driver was killed.
