Accident at Causway Point taxi stand

A STOMPer was at Causeway Point when he witnessed a blue Comfort taxi driver lose control of his vehicle and hit the taxi in front. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

In his email to STOMP today (Apr 28), the STOMPer wrote:

“The blue Comfort taxi driver lost control and hit the front taxi and then landed up on the area with plants.

“I am just glad that no one was hurt, even though it was a narrow and small area.

“I wonder how it happened. What kind of speed can cause this kind of effect?”

Auto transmission vehicle lor.....maybe stepped wrongly on accelerator instead of brake.
A lot of those new to autodrive vehicles make this type of mistakes, some of
which even resulted in loss of lives. 'sigh'
