Pick up pax at Mt. Sinai to Funan Center at about 12 nooon Saturday.
Sir, any prefer routes, he say you can take any routes you want.
After a short distance, reaching Ghim Mo, sir, can i take ECP then exit Rochor?
" I HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU WHICHEVER ROUTE"
I LL just move on without any communication.
I went by Alexandra>Havelock>Hill Street >Funan
On reaching destinantion, he surprised me with keep the 1.5 change.

The moral of the story:
1. Do not argue with them, you will never win
2. Not all lao lan pax are bad afterall.

My answer is yes and no. haha

Some may argue for few cents discount once we enter their area not to their expectation.
Months ago I will agree to reduce but now I guard my boundary ... no way.... exact fare please, no need give me tips cos I dun want.

Real example, received booking $2.5 Balmoral Cre to Leonie Hill Rd.
I took Steven->Scotts->Patterson->Grange Rd... intended right turn into Leonie Hill Rd... alamak there got central barrier blocked can't RT. She said I am very unhappy cos you waste my money need to go big round... how? now meter fare $4.8 I told her just pay me $4.8+$2.5 when reached, nothing more nothing less... agree? She said YES.

Drove further down to Orchard Link-> Loop back thru Orchard Rd into Grange again, meter fare $6.
She asked how much? I said $4.8+$2.5 as agreed. She funny funny asked (try luck???) ... can make it $7 ???
I said NOOOOO.... BCos we've agreed, SEVEN DOLLARS THIRTY CENTS PLEASEEEEEE!

New Upper Changi Rd opp changi cinema to Hougang Market Festival (if u know where is this placebiggrin) even comfort IVD map not updated KNN...

i took bedok north ave1.. tamp ave10.. old tamp rd.. tamp rd.. buangkok drive.. amk5 then hougang st51 then st 91

when he 1st board my cab he say HG.. i ask him HG where? he say market festival.. i stun.. think think maybe got a market festival there.. he say blk 91# which now i also forgot liaos.. ask him is it ave9? he say duno know also.. i make a mistake did not ask him which way he want to go.. halfway near buangkok drive the cb pax tell me i took long way and shd have take houggang rd instead of buangkok dr.. knn.. he say duno know where and now he say i take long way..CCB.. i saw him touching his handfone.. then i realise he use GPS CCB.. try to tell him this way also can faster and less lights.. and he say dont argue.. PCB.. LL quiet cos i make a mistake as to ask him which way i will go and see if he is ok.. CCCCB.. as he say dont argue i also KNN abit hot but kept cool and take him there.. fare $13.5 i told him to pay me the fare that is worth the journey and he give me only $10 KNNBPCB.. take and sped off i belief anyway other way to reach there is at least $13++ its a FALLEN Talent

sometimes it is good to tell a LIE.! When this happened to me before..I tell pax that I Just come from there(road he mentioned) and there was a Bad accident Traffic Jammed till standstill thats why I am taking alternative route..winkbiggrinSave the situation and have a happy pax.
It is always good to tell a little white lie to make everyone happy...especially yourself.smile
