All kind of pax..my weekend drive

Yesterday picked up one guy at Bukit Merah View, look run down and cannot stand properly and flag for my taxis, me stop and he sit beside me. He say uncle go Siow lan keng. Me look at him and he point his finger to his head. Me say hougang...he say yah...zoom... to Siow Lan Keng. Along the way me was thinking...not sure he got money to pay me or not. It also cross my mind that if he don't pay will just treat him for the ride since he look pityful n quite young around 25 yrs old. Reached IMH still know how to pay me $12 for the trip.

Bypassed two accident incident, one was fatality at Brickland rd (CCK) motor cycle accident, body covered by the police tent. At night outside Quality hotel, taxis hit few bicycles...the other two cyclist are ok except ...oh dear hit one young china girl...look pretty..

Had a difficult day...everywhere got cab no pax, weather too good no rain...me always pray for rain to come. A guy standing along the road and fold his arm, after i pass him he stretch up his hand to flag for the cad behind me. Me went inside the street saw a family along the road, suddenly another cab just U turn and cut in. Notice that the couple look at me but what to do...just have to move on. later on pick one nice guy at CCK going to Airport, me suddenly light up and zooom down. reached CA. fare $22.80, me say $22 will do, he passed me $25 and say keep the change. What a kind soul.

Moving on...wait at queetown mrt for rest, a pretty girl open the door, me say Miss go where, she just keep quite say wait. Boyfriend came in, me ask again Mr go where, boysay uncle Chinatown got any Hotel 81? Me say got and zoom there. Total silence along the trip. Saving all the energy to explode there. Make me itchy throughout the night. What a passenger!

Yes all within the same day, mine was SMRT, behind me was Yellow Sonata. After the two cab robbery incident which happens together, me very frustrated and head toward the nearest coffee shop to release my water tap and take a break.

hi Regit,

thanks for sharing your encounters in our line of job,
it' refreshing to read of real life happening around us as we rush hustily on the call & beckon of passengers.

mine 15+ years of hauling precious human cargo,
listening, dealing, parring then solving other people's problem
or meeting their needs,
sometime harden, othertime evoking emotions, nasty or nice.

think positive, count the blessing.

Why ruin the 23 hour 55 min of your beautifull Day,
Because of 5 min of unplesantness?

End of the shift,
when i park my cab in the carpark lot,
switch off the engine.

I do not bring my driving home. smile
and i will also try not to bring my emos to work,
impartial and immuned. liao~ biggrin

cheers,
