I will never never be a chrysler Taxis driver, imagine pax happy happy taking cab not knowing the fare structure and as the distance progress the meter jump sky high. End of the trip, pax face black black.....this is not what we want. We are here to provide the best service to our pax with pax satisfaction. Not to squeeze every single cent out from the pax through their ignorance.

I do have some unpleasant pax due to my carelessness for taking a slightly longer trip. End of trip, pax pay the amount but before getting out from the cab, blurted out in an angry tone to me for using a longer road. In my heart i felt sorry but unable to give discount as i have already settle the fare.

Hello Bros, please don't single out a certain group of drivers, chrysler cabbies are also the same as everyone one of us. It is the company that set the fare structure. Do you think that all the chrysler cabbies are happy with the fare? I know of many that are willing to give discount to their pax.

This is a very big problem with the way taxis are been operated here. The cabbies should have the final say as to the fare structures and not the taxi coy. Cause utimately, it is not the coy that will be affected by the fare but the cabbies and the pax. Also, the number of taxis otr should also be monitored as in many other countries and not allowed to grow indefinitely as is the case now!

With the current operation structures, the taxi coys are just merely acting as a car rental company and providing extra technical and logistics support to the cabbies for a fixed rate per day. How much a cabby earns is non of their concern. In this case, than the single most important thing that affects all cabbies (the taxi fare) should not be fixed by the taxi coy. It should be fixed by the cabbies as a collective agreement to the taxi coy and approved by the authorities.

The cabbies should also have the final say in the population of cabs allowed otr.

So I hope all bros here please don't forget the purpose and utimate goal of STC...
