This cabby accepts nothing but cash, and only in small bills
The driver of this cab accepts only cash, and even then only in small change. He gave a STOMPer an unhappy look when he received a $10 bill in payment.
Here's what the annoyed STOMPer wrote in an email today (June 11):
"I took a taxi this morning and saw this little piece of paper pasted at the roof.
"It reads 'Pay cash only. Sorry I have no small change for $50.'
"However I was already halfway to my destination by the time I saw it.
"I'm glad that I had a $10 note instead of a $50 note. But the driver did not consider it small change.
"When I reached the destination, I gave him my $10 to pay for the $6.20 taxi fare. The driver glared at me and said in an unfriendly tone 'You don't have small change?'
"I replied, 'No. I only have $10.' He then gave me an unhappy look, as though I owed him money, and said 'You don't have 20 cents?'
"I replied 'I have...'. He then gave me the change with a buay song (unhappy) face!
"I'm wondering, is it my fault? What if I tell him I don't have cash? Will he throw me out halfway? What kind of service does he provide?
"What exactly is considered small change? $10 isn't considered small change? I generally tell the driver if I have only $50 notes before I board taxi.
"Do I need to ask the driver if he accepts $10 bills, or what mode of payment he accepts before I board each time?" ------------------------------------0000000000000000000----------------------------- with many more of these type of cabbies...it's clear why many people gave up flagging taxis these days

this is wat the stomper says.. we dont really knows wat happen.. but definately not until like that la... $10 no change unless really suay kena 4 to 5 piece of $50.. but pasting that paper is not trandy for chrysler... shd be a chrylser.. furthermore smrt where got use nets or credits? the stomper tulan take exp cab??
