Fare Touting at Tanah Merah ferry Terminal

Was at above place last night, the pax que werequite long but no cab in sight, except a merc cab stop on the other side. All the pax was looking at what the merc cabby action while the restwere making phone booking. The merc cabby was targetting those ang mo with flat rate of $40 to $50 per trip. Why the LTA and taxis coy still allow such thing to happen?

Nothing wrong. There is a Limo counter at TNFT and the charges is $40 per trip.

think the garment people always go TMFT and find no cab, that's why kept on increasing cab fleet otr...

during the time TMFT no cab, i was q-ing at certain office or industrial park for 15-30mins

TMFT should have surcharge like Airport and Expo, it's really out of the way just to go there pick a pax.

The govenment is stupid with suppressive policies !

It's survival of the fittest !

NO taxi then put surcharge like $10. See got taxi come if still don't have put $20 .

Instead of flogging us with more taxis .

Putting more taxi on the road is a way to create job for the unemployed.
But there should be a limit.

Sporean are not interested in most of the job that foreign workers hold..
