A sad news involved death of a taxi driver who was attacked by a drunkard in Hong Kong. What if it happened in Singapore?

An Australian man has been charged with murder followimg a multiple vehicle collision in Central on Saturdeay that left a taxi driver dead.

Kelsey Michael Mudd, 22, will appear at Eastern Magistracy on Monday charged with murder.

Taxi driver Wong Chi-ming, 58, was declared dead at Queen Mary Hospital.

be extra cautious when pax (regardless of male or female) going to those ulu places, upon reaching the destination turn on the "indoor" light and be "On Guard"

aiya, bo pian one la...consider it as occupational hazard lor.
all one can do is juz to be more careful lor...
sometimes, u need to trust ur hunch or sixth-sense and don't stop for those u find suspicious.
as regards complaints for not stopping, that's for another day to worry about.

Be safe, not sorry.

There are many kinds of ppl in this world.
I remember last year some Taxi Uncles were molested by a faggot who offer them spiked drinks.
So don't anyhow consume food or drinks offered by pax hoh.

or

install video cam and a sign telling the pax he's on the recording
(like the china cab i took last yr at xiamen)

don't expect cab coy to install for u
cuz drivers meant nothing much to them, except to help tem earn their pay :(

hahaha bro tiny..u must be one of them hor. hahaha...

i guess sometimes instinct do tells ....just be extra careful when pick paxs wearing caps and some sounds weird.. those wearing mouth mask.( an excuse for H1N1 )....see where u pick them? day or nite...drivers do be extra lookout.

Now I pay special attention and alert when pax wear cap in the night.
Kena twice already....reached destination,opened door and ran.
Guess only thing can do is turn around,give him a good look and auto
lock when about to reach destination.

When you are "suay" you just have to live with it. Just like just 4 hours ago,picked up a "cracked head",landed in the Sengkang police station,wasted my time and meter fare as well.....Tomorrow is another day and will be better than today....wink Cheers!

Seriously, i'm not worried about safety issue.
I'm more worried about pax run away without paying fares, empty street no ones to pick up, make not enough money, partner desiel tank pump not full, etc.
