I like taking calls especially long distance once, but sometimes some very short
Is there any way to tell from the look of the screen ? sometimes destination not written there

How to tell if the call is good / bad pax ? I have a fair share of both, luckily 80 ~ 90 percent are good

There was once got a call from md sultan area pax on road, destination written as changi airport around 10plus pm, thought hosay leow, but when reach there pax go 2 destination to heartlands, maybe they trying to lure / trick us into taking that call ...

Today got a call, accepted it, later comfort follow up another msg which most TD dreaded, pax got DOG !!!furious
Why can't comfort just key in the dog msg together ... can i call them and gif them a good time biggrin. Can we reject after the follow up msg ?
I ever ferry3 times pax with dog, all three got hair drop out, took at least 10mins to clean, some evengot saliva on the chair/door and got dog smell, lucky this time the dog wear cloths, no hair drop out, doesn't smell, in fact I smell perfume ...biggrin

Dunno why recently I got so many calls, took another6 today, could have been 7,maybe I on piority list ?biggrin
Any bros experience surge in the no. of calls ?

Hey Music...sing along with the tune when you get it. There will always be wet days & Dry days.
I have also recieved 61 call bookings in the month of July but this month getting less.
Take them all cats , dos, elephants but when they board your cab you must inform them of cleaning up behind them otherwise a cleaning/vacuum charge must be levied (up to you to quote).biggrin

For dogs and animal, small ones must be in cage and big one muffled. You can reject the the pax if they are not. These are actually regulations from AVA. Especially, big dogs must be muffled when in any public places. You can always reject based on allegic.

As for calls, I usually don't take those where the pickup points are main roads, and also certain problematic places where it is hard to find the pax or cannot wait. (eg. serangoon area, certain buildings in CBD, etc.)

Other than that, it is all up to your luck whether you get good or bad pax...

today i also got a new record... (a bad one thou)

my evening 6 hrs drive never had such bad business,
even economy down time, h1n1 time, never been so suay.

6hrs on a sat only 7 pax!!!

at 1st thought EPL all stay home...
then it might be just bad bad day.

later then i found out its the sign on top put "out of order"
no wonder pax along the street didn't flag lah!
the 7 pax i took is 3 from taxi stand, 1 at serangoon rd,
the other 3 must be flagging for the cab behind lor
(or they don't understand english)

wtf day

According to some reliable info.... sorry dun wanna disclose source.

When 2 taxis are almost same distance to the booking point the system need to choose one, not random but according to certain preset rules:
- numbers of reject calls;
- shortest ETA in the record;
- punctual.

To qualified as WARRIOR grade, haha, no call rejected in the past 30 days, ETA always less than 5 mins, no late record, no complaint of course.

Imagine CDG "dong" 1st cab... reject.... 2nd .... reject.... 3rd reject... pax sian liao. Must well secure the call by 'dong' the Warrior before pax call other coy.

Congrats bro Music! You are the man. smile.gif

If i am 1st in the Q and u r 2nd in the Q along any waiting area, u hv higher chance to get the call than me.

Well, different pax react differently.

Some paxs are happy if you fly there.

Once a pax ask me 'how come you r here even b4 I call ?"

I told him, I'm suppose to pickup Mrxxx, but call was cancelled.

They start to imagine.

ve learn to work smarter now. Pickup location, time of call, any "For Hire"

cab heading toward the pickup pt....

Pax know when to call n when to Q at TS or flag at roadside.

To them taxi drivers are providing a service not suppose to work smart

I always try to put myself in their shoe to manage it better.
