Probably the only taxi driver in this world with a PhD from Stanford and a proven track record of scientific accomplishments, I have been forced out of my research job at the height of my scientific career, and unable to find another one, for reasons I can only describe as something "uniquely Singapore". As a result, I am driving taxi to make a living and writing these real life stories just to make the dull job a little more interesting. I hope that these stories are interesting to you too.

This Dr Cai seems to be genuine and not somebody trying to pass-off as a professor.

Probably having a holiday job as a Taxis driver. Once the sky is clear he will be back to where he comes from....likely to be in teaching profession. Salute him for drastic change in job where not many highly calibre professional talented people will venture into. Once he is back on his feet, whatever experience gain as a Taxis driver will add value to his outlook in life and challenges ahead. Who knows one day he might be the next CEO of a Taxis company.,,SMRT, Comfort...etc...
