Just my thought, not to pour cold water. Something to share.
CNG is relatively new. Understand from ur post that when on CNG a small amount of petrol is needed. CNG out, will switch to petrol. For new vehicle that should not be a problem. If the transition is not smooth the vehicle might jerk or stall. This is logic.
For any machine more complicated and more moving parts will need more maintenance. For the mechanic, CNG is also new to them. I do have little experience in machine. Air hose, cooling pipe, steam pipe, coupling loose, gasket worn out, bolt n nuts loose, alignment out due to vibration and heat are very common. Electrical n electronic parts are also very delicate. Compress gas will it explode or leak during accident! Spare parts do have their life span. Preventive maintenance is to change those parts b4 end of life. Workshop willing to spend ? Downtime ? After the honeymoon period the workshop and preventive maintenance play a very important role. Are they up to the task ?
As for the ABS braking system. Heavier vehicle will need better brake. Again wear n tear and maintenance play a part.. If no proper maintenance will also hit backside !
Seems like there's more red wish on the roads now wish to try a wish for once a week (day shift - probably wed or thur) and see if without calls better than oncall
Can any bro advice on the following 1. Deposit - how much ? 1. $1500 2. Topup - normally is it take full and return full ? or count by mileage travelled ? My day run usually around the region of 350 ~ 400km so if 1 full CNGtank can only go 250km, then i need to top up 2 times or let it go on petrol ?
2. It's all depend on both the hirer and you, you guys have to work out an agreement, like my friend he has the relief driver to top upfull tank of CNG when returning the taxi, use petrol to travel back from the gas station to the hirer's place, usage of petrol therelief driver has to base on the mileage and pay for it ( how much my friend is charging I dun know!).Uponruning out of CNG you can use petrol, record down themileage you've travelled, inform the hirer how far you've go upong returning of taxi and pay the hirer for the usage of petrol based on the earlier agreed price.
Hi bro, pls see insert in red text, hopefully I've answer your question

well at the moment not such issues , touch wood .
CNG taxis will need to go for inspection every 6 months .... so let those experts deal with it .
I would say taxi companies and the insurance companies got more worry than us .
It's not our car ... it's theirs , so let them maintain it for us , we only complaint la .
Borneo Motor received lot of enquiry on this model but reluctance to import it. They thought Toyota has so many models. Don't need to bring in Wish. When the parallel importers flood the market then they realise that the demand is real.

another reason is Borneo Motor got a obligation as Distributor to sell their quota of Picnic, Wish would canibilise their Picnic sales,
but Singaporean motorist are getting very savy, like us Taxiuncle too
i hope i am wrong , Borneo Motor do have Wish , only that it's Made-In-Thailand , whereas parallel importer import Made-In-Japan Wish , i think mine Wish is from Borneo Motor .... cos it's the Thailand's Wish .

Borneo Motor start to import Wish after the parallel importers flood the market.
Maybe they think...can't beat them might as well them join them.
Ya, parallel importer Wish is Japan Made- for Japan market..
If u open up the bonnet...the fuse box labellings, brake fluid, engine oil spec are in Japanese. Did not see inside the cabin. Was trying to help a fellow motorist in Malaysia some years back.
By trial n error managed to replace a blown fuse for him. I Kaypo ask him "how come all in Japanese" he say is parallel import car, Borneo Motor don't have this model.
