Driver cuts into taxi¡¯s lane and causes collision at Church Street
A STOMPer, annoyed with the daily occurrence of queue-cutting at Church Street, sent in this video of an accident that occurred this morning (Aug 31) involving a car and a taxi.
In an email to STOMP today (Aug 31), the STOMPer says:
¡°This morning, an accident that took place along Church Street, near Telok Ayer Street caused a traffic jam.
¡°This queue cutting happens every morning.
¡°Some drivers just cut queue at the entrance to Telok Ayer Street. They make an illegal right turn.
¡°What is the difference between changing lanes and cutting queue?
¡°One more thing. Check out the license plate of the Blue Taxi in front of me. Is this legal?
¡°At night it may be seen as a blob of black dirt.¡±
