Hi all experienced lao chiow . How is your dollar value compared to the mileage covered per shift. ? I have enjoyed the peak hours coverage of about 100km at $1/- per km ....Then after the peak hours it goes down to the ratio of 1 : 1.7

Anyone with diffent values??
I'm still green.
IMO, The more Q-ing involved the lower the ratio. I'm more concern of how much fare I can collect in an hour. At the end of my shift is the $$$ I take home that matter. For me, time is more important than fuel/mileage.

Time is money...that's what we always say right?
please be careful not to fall into this time trap...i.e. many cabbies tend to rush or speed...ever see some cab rush to cut you & be infront?
as a newbie adopt this simple principle...bring home $$ to family in one piece...not win-lose but win-win

I think u misunderstood me. "My time is more important than fuel/mileage".... is less q-ing, go to places where there are less competition . After all, I only need one pax to start the meter.

So it does seem that peak hours coverage is a good 1 : 1 and off-peak may be 1 : 2 Peak hours is 2 1/2 hours in the morn and 3 hours in the evening...If you like to queue at airport ....there goes your peak hours timing. How many trips can one make during the peak hours from airport/ to airport queueing time average 30 minutes.
