M'sian CNG taxi explosion case. Still not sure whether is accident or suicide ?

Noticed from the picture the CNG tank did not explode. LPG tank will fly like rocket when explode.

True ,Malaysia taxis have been running cng for more than 10 yrs.

Not much private cars convert to cng. Was told CNG is available at all Petronas gas station in Malaysia and they have the most gas stations.

just for info guys , All CNG Taxis must go Vicom inspection for every 6 months , to make sure it is not tampered with , no leaking , no irregular functioning .

This very safe to drive CNG vehicles in Sgp .

Non public transport vehicle oso like need to go CNG inspection , but for every 3 years , for absolute safety .

My Uncle bought a new Mercedes E200 CNG .... solid la the German made original CNG installation .

yeah i did saw this article from the papers a few months back ....

but it still never hold me back driving a CNG taxi ... cos i have faith in Toyota Japan , Borneo Motor , Union Gas TransCab and Vicom .

I treat this as an isloated case .

One can avoid such incidence , by putting a bit more effort in checking and regular maintainance , and inspection of course .

Yes, installation need to be done properly.
Those original CNG cars, their installation or their set up tok kong one, no horse run.
Those converted need to go license conversion workshop, cannot suka suka any workshop oso can de.
The tank itself bery hard, it's always the connection hose tats dangerous but with proper installation done, the risk is very low.
Anyway regular inspection is the key to safety.
If CNG so unsafe, then how come it's growing around the world?

true CNG is not a new technology...so ask yourself hor why Sinkgapore have the biggest CNG stn in the world? Would not the 1st world country have the biggest too since the technology derive from there? Or many still fear the gas?

I hope i can answer u on that .

Becos Singapore government want to protect the interest of the Oil Refinery Industry !

If the PAP garmen push full force into this CNG plans , a long time ago AxxonMobile run away liao , who want to put invesment into our Singapore Oil Refinery business ?

Why Comfort keep saying NO to CNG ?

Yes la , Comfort want to protect their interest in diesel sales , which did generate millions of dollars for them thru out the years .

Oil Refinery industry in Sgp very vulberable , becos Sgp market too tiny .... PAP garmen cannot afford to see giant like Axxon and Shell go away .... or our economy will be even more hurt .

This has nothing to do with fear .

Aiya very polictical one la .... And this is just Sgp alone .

If u go and analyse the effect on the bigger 1st world country like USA , Brits and France ...

Oil is the main say in the Global Financial situation, tat's why la .

Human has the "It will never happen to me mentality"
