(1) Call takers - Eyes only see IVT screen , any people waving by the roadside appears transparent to you. Die die must have call , no call dont know how to run.
(2) Road Sweeper - Never bother about IVT , sometimes logged out even , anyone flag juz pick and go. Complain call is waste time and waste 50 cents.

I used to be strictly No 1 but now gradually switching to a mix of 1 and 2 . Now calls also lesser liao hahaha. After 12 am , confirm is all the way No 2 lol
Cruise....got pax flag , take......cruise.....got call booking, take.....first come first served.....once i commit a call, i will fulfill.
I have only rejected 1 call since i started out-that is Singtel Kim Chuan road. I went there, cannot find the place and there are road blocks, and i did not even know i have to go past the security post as that time i just started driving......after I reached late, called pax, and say he waited too long(7mins late) and rejected.
After I drove along Jalan Besar, the Singtel Kim Chuan Road call booking came again with different hp no. That is the very first time I rejected. You can say I am petty or narrow-minded, I just dont feel like going there anymore.
Peak hrs 5pm-8pm CBD area very congested, and to make it worse, it was during the APEC period. Around Victoria St I got a call booking at Plaza Sing, I pressed 10min and headed there. By the time I was at Stamford Rd approaching ERP Orchard Gantry, 10mins passed, so I called pax, she said she cannot wait and cancelled the call. Glad I called or I would have to pay the ERP fee out of my own pocket!!!
I did not enter the Orchard Gantry and landed at Queen St Taxi Stand within CBD area, got pax want to get in, but saw my taxi on call. Called call center wanted to remove the call booking but line diverted to auto answer and gotta wait.....Thanks to Richard for his advice, i on/off the taxi meter and clear the booking. Then I asked the pax come in. Pax going to Suntec.....took about 25mins to reach...and fare $12, but little girl only got $10....so i accepted $10.
I am still not very familiar with CBD area so I am not confident to accept during peak hours, the traffic is quite heavy and I wont reach in time, even pressed 10mins....after 8pm calls will come in, near CBD but outside the CBD area.

As a matter of fact , i felt more relax that way .... more peaceful .
Compared to those days .... i get about 10 calls a normal weekday , 13-16 calls a Friday night . Don't ask , mine is the 3G 738 MDT , NC 2000 and Sapphire that time where got fight ?
Now where got such 13-16 calls thing ?
Stress la take call .... run here run there . I've been thru all these call stuff , sian liao .
I always thought take call generate more money .... not for the current fare structures .
That is one reason i quit comfort and joined TransCab as relief .
I took call my income lower and higher mileage than my "dunno what is call " friend , road sweeper type .
Think back , make no sense to me .
Glad i made the right decision .
Call is distracting for me now .
Who cares ? I am earning more now & more consistent than when i was with Comfort .
Take call not necessarily will generate more income for you .
Take call definitely need tremendous skills .
Mind must be really fast , decision also must be spot-on .
Take my advice , now if at ulu places , then on your MDT .
If many people waiting for you ... forget it , grap and go will be faster for your pockets . Call ki lan we say it .

Most of the time call is annoying when everywhere got pax. Run here run there makes nosense. Last friday nite whole Orchard no taxi, everywhere can see ppl holding h/p call cab. In paragon 23:00 more than 50 pax waiting at taxi stands only 4 on call parked next to entrance and wait... how many minutes to wait??? wasting time.
I even received a knn booking, was at Balmoral received offer ION Orchard $3.5, joke.
