On the last day of 2012, come down to the scenic Marina Bay and usher in the New Year as a part of the enthusiastic crowd enjoying the special line-up of performances. Before the event, wishing spheres will be distributed across various shopping malls in Singapore throughout December so you can pen your wishes for your loved ones in the year ahead. These spheres will be set afloat in the Bay of Hope & Light, forming a mesmerising visual arts display as a backdrop to the free outdoor theatre performances that will entertain you for the countdown party.
Jointly organised by Esplanade and the Urban Redevelopment Authority, this event aims to bring people from all walks of life together for a grand celebration to mark the beginning of the year. Bring your friends and family to join in the festivities and witness a breathtaking display of fireworks as you ring in the New Year.
