Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts has announced the soft opening of Moevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa, its first property in Singapore, with the grand launch earmarked towards the end of the year.

Located in the heart of Sentosa, the five-star hotel depicts the colonial history and contemporary flair of the country in its striking interiors, designed by world famous Japanese firm, Super Potato.

The hotel’s facilities are spread out over two distinct wings, the traditional Heritage wing -with colonial heritage dating back to the 1940s, and the new Contemporary wing providing an upscale experience to discerning travellers. The initial phase sees the opening of the contemporary wing, which offers distinctively designed rooms and suites, dining and entertainment options and meetings and conference facilities.

This modern section features 105 Deluxe rooms while 19 Onsen Suites, three Executive Suites and two Penthouse Suites - will open throughout 2011. The signature Onsen suites will each feature a Japanese-style hot tub set in a tranquil outdoor sanctuary while the Penthouse Suites will offer private rooftop pools

Mvenpick Heritage is located at the heart of Sentosa Island, a 15-minute walk from Universal Studios Singapore. The luxurious hotel offers an outdoor infinity pool, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Spacious guestrooms feature modern interiors with wooden flooring. Each well-appointed room has a minibar, tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV withc cable channels. The en suite marble bathroom comes with a bathtub.

Open for all-day dining, the hotel’s restaurant serves international dishes that can be enjoyed in an outdoor setting. The rooftop Sky Lounge offers drinks and live musical performances. Mvenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa offers laundry and dry cleaning services. Luggage storage is available at the 24-hour front desk.

Hotel Mvenpick Heritage is a 20-minute drive from the popular Orchard Road. Changi International Airport is a 35-minute drive from the hotel.
