The annual Pongal Festival, organised by the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (LISHA), will be held this yearstarting Jan 7.
The festival is expected to draw about 2000 people to the event daily.
To facilitate traffic arrangements for the event, the following roads will be closed during the stipulated period and timing:
Hastings Road (between Serangoon Road and Clive Street) will be closed from Monday, January 7, 8am to Monday, Jan 21, 11pm.
During the closure timings, access into the above-mentioned roads will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.
Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking and causing obstruction will be towed away.
