CDG staff make mistake, give wrong info but I kanna LTA summon instead


Just received a LTA summons for "illegal parking" at Marina View. It was dated 20 Nov, which is already almost 3 months

ago. Damn it, I think to myself, kana another $120 summons plus 3 demeritsno.H/r something abt tis summons make me

feel uneasy so I check the date and bloody hell, realised that it was not me driving this taxi on that particular date.

Further checks with my respective hirer's log book reveal that it was indeed a MIstake i.e another relief driver commited

the offence and was not ME!furious

Straight away call LTA, who says the info comes from CDG. My hirer went down to CDG, yet he calls me says he kanna

scolding from the CDG staff. I quickly traced who he spoke to, called her and gave her a piece of my mind. She made a mistake

almost affected my livelihood yet got cheek to scold my hirerfurious. I was livid with her response, how in bloody hell can give

wrong driver's details based on MDT records. In the end, nvr even apologise, so bloody idiotic woman!

Moral of story: always double check yr records if kana LTA summons esp ppl like me who is relief for multiple hirers. Dont trust

bloody CDG! If stupid2 jus accept and pay, u end up the stupid fool! Sickeningno

Now i know what the logbook is for already. Sometimes taxi company will just anyhow humtam and get over with it. It is only when we actually reconfirm with our records then we are safe.
