Hi Ah Di ,,,
Sorry ,, the answer is : NO
Everything is up to U and your hirer ,, everything is negotiable .
Not all hirers are nice , but not all hirers are bastard too !
Try it out 1st, if U can not survive under the agreement between you and your hirer , tok to him abt it , if he refused to make changes ..walk away lor !

first of all, welcome to the family ^_^

yup, no fix agreement. hirer state their terms, up to u to accept or not. if u find its unacceptable for u, find another 1.
so far until now, me & my friends (we are relief drivers) are paying by split rental cost, not by milleage.

in the mean time, u can take a look at the following thread in this forum:

all the best ;)

Hi Ah Di ,,,
Normally this is what we call the "norm" between the hirer & relief :
a) the daily rental is share 50% each on either party if both party is driving 12 hrs shift
b) If the relief driver is driving 7 days a week & 12 hrs a day .. he can ask the hirer to share the incentive payment from the taxi company
c) If the relief driver is on sharing alternate Sunday off with his hirer he also can ask to share the incentive payment from the taxi company
d) as for the diesel cost , some hirer prefer to collect cash from his relief and he himself will top up the fuel tank to prevent any dispute,
for day shift driving is normally base on 9.5km per litre , night shift is abt 10km per litre
e) base on above, the CDGO Sonata diesel cost as @ today is :
Day shift : ($1.13/9.5km=$0.119 or $0.12 per km)
Nite shift : ($1.13/10km=$0.11 per km)

however the abt is just for your info .

Please remember this principle : as a taxi driver , we all wants to make money , BUT , we will make money from our pax but not from your hirer or relief !

Cheers,,, hope to see you otr soon !
