relief can start driving without attending the MDT first if the hirer is willing to coach.
however, the relief will still be arrowed (tio shoot) to attend the MDT in the near future.

So you only need to take 2 papers to get your tdvl?

Your classmates pass today and able to sign up with CDG and will be attending the mdt and cs course soon?

Total 4 papers but got 2 papers are Heng Heng passed by the passing mark.

We took the course at CDG together then during the course, CDG approached us to sign up on the spot, those who sign up need not to pay deposit for the taxi, instead they gave us $1600 signing up fee if we signed on the spot. I was considering at that time cos not sure which company is better.

You took the tdvl course at CDG and CDG told you to wait for LTA letter.....

Anyway, you decided on which company yet?

I called up most of the companies to enquire.

STA told me to wait for the LTA letter,not CDG. CDG is the place i went for training course tdvl.

I also haven't decide which company though quite a few people recommended CDG due to the high volume of call bookings.

What your decision? Let's share abit of information.

for your info, CDG biz is good now so that cherry pick their drivers.
they would not reject you directly but would give you a 6 months wait for their cab.
so, be prepared to talk nicely during the interview. :)

Yup, went to sin ming last week and was told waiting period is 1 1/2 to 2 months.....

Still waiting for the letter and with the card on hand, will go down to the 3 companies.

Now idling, abit boring but once start like the seniors mentioned will long for idling like now lol.
