That is quite a big difference in cost. And i suppose Comfort has the largest no. of pump stations over the island.

I have a question that suddenly strike my mind. You know, it is so common to use our smart phone google map to check for directions. For cab drivers to use google maps in their phone, would it probably create a bad impression to the passengers that we are using our phone while in the vehicle and maybe tio complain? Haha.

Google map is fast. Flipping the streetdirectory book is obviously much slower.

Any comments anyone?

IMO, street directory is faster than using phone (use you know the correct way to search) but slower than paging for help from members in our group. biggrin and all CDG taxi come with built-in GPS. can search exact location while waiting at traffic junction or on highway while cruising if you know the tricks well.
no, juz let the pax knows you are a new driver and most of them would understand.

Wow, u mean the MDT got GPS? That sounds very good!

I took my taxi course earlier this year and we are trained to use the street directory. But using street directory maybe take longer time to trace the route? Need to flip pages. Smart phone can just finger swipe the map move around and the route got highlighted which roads to use/enter/exit expressway.

How to do paging of in the group? Is it use Palringo?

Cool. The GPS is a saver!

I find time to look at Palringo to see how it works. I am in the process of registering with Comfort. Placing my deposit tomorrow.

Someone told me the sonata is a 1.7L diesel turbo engine? Sounds good!

Ok man. Today is my first day on the road. Day shift 6-6pm. I feel so tired.

Started at 7:30am, end at 5:55pm, with 30min break in the morning and 30min break for lunch.

Net profit $70. Gave one passenger a free ride because i lose my way in the city area, and another passenger only remember to start meter after driving for quite a while.

Tired! Is my earning average for a 12 hour shift?

no, you can do better.

dont need to give free ride for mistake made, juz cut a fraction from the total amount will do.
