In actually fact, SMRT's current bookings has the second largest volume, following closely behind CDG. SMRT also has a decent number of advance bookings. SMRT booking system is not bad too. Only thing I'm slightly uncomfortable with is SMRT's cashless device (not the sytem. it's good enough), which is not as direct as CDG's device (directly connected to the MDT), but of course better than us. haha.

One good point about SMRT is that currently only SMRT accept VISA payment.

In terms of housing areas, Transcab are really losing out in this area. Our Advance Booking is even worse, really F up in a sense that the MDT will prompt the advance to you ONLY when:
1. your taxi is currently not under hired (meaning no pax & MDT not in busy sign)
2. you are in that particular area/town from the source of booking (works similar to current booking but that's really S***** method)

oh my... brain dead. can't think further. end of story for now.

the MDT of CDG cannot received advance job booking when the cab is on hired now. no more. i think its becos too noisy.

pax sitting behind and the MDT keep on ding ding ding...and distracting the driver too. smile

yup, CDG's MDT will not have any OC or advance coming when it's under hired, unless you press STC.aww

I drive for cdg and yes their jobs quite a lot. I seldom take unless I'm stuck in ulu places like industrial area in the middle of the night, only then i will take call when available.

My guess is try to avoid taking call (if possible) when location is at main rd no.. chances of aeroplane very the high de..

IMHO, driving with CDG must take call. If not u are better off with other company , cuz CDG has the least incentive.

CBD areas r alway like tis.. One raffles quay and marina bay financial hotspots for aeroplane pilot... I dun cancel away my on-call sign even pax no show.. Simply jus drive over to taxi stand n ask who wanna take over but must pay on-
call fees.. If no pax wan, simply drive off n make 1 round to stop by roadside to cancel in meantime wait for another on-call to blink..
