Taxi Log book

Hi All,

During the TDVL course, my trainer said we need to have a taxi log book in the taxi at all time. I wonder any one have a format that I can follow?

Thanks in advance!

Yup, each individual taxi comapny will provide each taxi with the log book. If you are getting your own taxi & you do not get one when collecting the taxi, remember to take from them, just in case they forget to issue to you.

So far, I don't record logbook.
Will anything goes wrong to my disadvantage?

It is mandatory. Regulations. If any issue arises during your shift and the company inspects your log book, you are in trouble.

Don't mess around. Just do it.

The funny thing about log book summary is the interpretation of the kilometer traveled. As a super relief, I tried to follow the hirer's way of tallying the distance covered during my "shift".

Most hirers will copy the distance traveled on the same line of his shift period (as shown on the odometer) except for 1 hirer who inserted the distance traveled so far on the next blank line. Did not make sense but he wants it HIS WAY. Gave me a small migraine but he insisted that it is correct. ........LOL.
