SINGAPORE - A car accident happened Thursday, Mar 13, 2014, morning at Tampines Road towards Tampines Avenue 10.
Stomp had reported that contributor Joanne spotted a fatal road accident at Old Tampines Road involving at least two casualties.
She had spotted the blue Police 'death tent' from the window of a bus as she passed by the area.
Joanne wrote:
"Fatal accident at Old Tampines Road near Paya Lebar Air Base."
At 2.30pm, Stomp reported an update from the Singapore Police Force:
"Police received a call this morning at 6.18am requesting for assistance at Tampines Road towards Tampines Avenue 10.
"Upon Police arrival, it was established that an accident involving a car had occurred at said location.
"2 female passengers were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
"The male driver and one female passenger were conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH).
"The male was subsequently arrested for dangerous driving causing death, under Section 66 of the Road Traffic Act.
"Police investigations are ongoing."
